In 1941, Chevrolet trucks set a sales record - a record that did not even include the 5,600 that were made especially for the U.S. Army. Completely redesigned for 1941, this 11/2 Ton Heavy Duty Deluxe Flatbed had a new massive 2-section grille made even more prominent by the lack of a hood ornament. It also featured especially thick bumpers and the new RPO 6-cylinder engine, now increased to 90 horsepower.
